Be it volunteers standing at the forefront and distributing materials to the people, or the team of individuals at the backend who stand as our supporting pillars, every person has a role to play. And we, at The Sahil Sharma Foundation are grateful and proud to be associated with such groups who enable us to reach greater heights with their unwavering dedication.
Amongst the partners who support our missions is our food vendor Mr. Manoj who supplies food containers to us. Initially finding a caterer who could understand our food needs was a tough task. We ordered from 2-3 different suppliers but none of them could satisfy our requirements. It eventually became a challenge for us which we had to overcome. Yet, after conducting rigorous research and completing many distribution drives, we came across Manoj who was ready to support us in our noble cause.
Local Business Partnerships with people like our food supplier have only strengthened our motive to reach all those people who have no access to even a single meal of the day. We also are associated with a soft drink vendor, who, when heard about our initiative, agreed to provide us with soft drink crates at discounted rates. Through successfully navigating our paths and overcoming obstacles, we have been able to provide quality food and drinks to the poor and needy people, enriched by healthy tastes and a feeling of homeliness.
Food is the basis for any human’s survival, and this is why the Sahil Sharma Foundation came into being. When we found that the food that we distributed to people didn’t meet the required standards, we realized that our missions couldn’t turn out to be fruitful. Quality was always paramount for us, and to talk about our founding stages, we went through severe trials and tribulations in finding the ideal partner for us. But with the blessings of Lord Shiva, we met Manoj who we continue to partner with. The day we tasted his food, we knew that this was all we had always wanted.
Marking a Community Impact comes with a lot of responsibility. And when you have started a mission with the idea of bridging nutritional differences and fostering equality in food distribution, you need to look after various aspects. Our idea was not only to provide food to the hungry but to ensure that whatever we provided, succeeded in nourishing their souls and feeding their empty stomachs.
